"Know Which One is Yours"
The owners of ID Me Bands are on an aggressive crusade to prevent the spread of illnesses caused by sharing bottled drinks - they've created a unique, cool and functional bottle marker that helps athletes and the everyday citizen identify their bottles and ultimately live healthier lives.
ID Me Bands are a more versatile and clever solution for identifying personal belongings -and even people -than anything currently on the market. Developed by health fanatics, these 100 percent hypoallergenic bands are supported by parents, coaches, trainers, medical professionals and law enforcement across the country.
The bands are stylish and feature an unmistakable free-flowing, bold integration of art and wristband.
ID Me Bands owners are zealous about the future health of this country and fervently urge all sports teams, camps and tournaments to use these bands. Should the health of Americans be taken lightly? They think not.
ID Me Bands have already impacted youth athletics and professional sports. The Memphis Grizzlies are part of this healthy initiative sweeping the nation and gave customized bands to their season ticket holders bearing the team’s logo. They also use the bands in their “Grizz Kids Club” and “Healthy Home Court” initiatives that promote better eating and daily exercise.
Several Texas Chick-Fil-A restaurants gave out ID Me Bands to their players during their Texas vs. The World Baseball Tournament. The bands have become a prized possession of many AAU Basketball teams both as a bottle marker and as uniform apparel. The bands are sold in College Station athletic apparel stores. Thousands of sports tournament attendees all over America have purchased ID Me Bands.
“There’s really an underlying enemy to the overall health of athletes (and everyday people) that this band can prevent,” ID Me Bands co-owner Keith Carter said. “It is very alarming to consider the number of known and unknown illnesses being passed around these days.”
The company offers bands in nine different colors from numbers 00 to 99 and urges Americans to join in this fight against saliva-transmitted diseases such as mononucleosis, meningitis, the common cold, mumps and cold sores, also known as herpes simplex and skin dermatitis.
“It’s time to shine a light on the habit of sharing water bottles,” said Nicole Reeder, co-owner.
ID Me Bands were developed after the owners heard about the meningitis outbreaks in the Tennessee area and the spread of other related illnesses at schools, parks and recreational facilities from children drinking behind each other. The idea to solve this problem and protect people from catching germs and viruses was birthed in the form of these bands.
The owners ask: Will your camp, team or children be safe from saliva-transmitted illnesses this summer or upcoming sports season? As hundreds of people have already decided---with ID Me Bands, the answer is "yes!"
About ID Me Bands
ID Me Bands is a Memphis-based company that was launched in 2012 by a group of people wanting to create a cool-looking band that could serve a purpose as well. Their bands are the first practical bottle marker for athletic environments. Bands come in three distinct band types: number series bands that feature numbers (00 to 99) prominently on a band, sports bands boldly feature the ball of a specific sport (e.g. football, basketball, baseball, etc.) and custom bands distinctly feature the logo and name of an organization, company, team or school.
Their mission is to increase public health and safety and also revolutionize and reinvigorate the advertising and motivational wrist band industry by blending innovative art concepts with purpose and function. Their motto speaks to the heart of preventing the spread of disease through the sharing of sports drinks and water bottles. Know which one is yours.
